Steam Southeast Asian Servers

Are servers in SEA (Indonesian here though steam probably prioritizes to Singapore) quite bad right now. I have a good 200mbps connection but 50% of steam launches lead to offline and “Retry” won’t work so I have to exit then relaunch, been happening since yesterday

Steam Status says Singapore is on 87.5%, so I guess not the best state, changing download region doesn't change anything

No thats is extaly correct, you cant get past node you need to go though, only you and isp know what that is. ( pipe maze or spider web is they standard explanation model or Matrix is typical being use for such , and you still need to go though first jump ) so change DL zone will not help you if thats the cause.
( same as saying to all asia people stop use the net then im online, gl with that , but im sure you get it then i said please learn use network to off peek hour to update/download or install games then most of you sleep ) and im sure steam might or already do this in your region, or they should do it, not because i say so , but because spreedout load pressure is logic.
in the end this will be forced down on you then your region cant get anything to work or steam user still dont use right ways with when its steam server can handle it or when all steam user in your region is ready for it.

i dont work for steam , this is seen from a network point of view. know as spreedout policy and steam is already start doing it.

and Covid.19 just put even more pressure at your region, ( fact is this should have been done from first online day, ) but this is nothing new, things only chenge then there is need for it.

So its just more server load and not on my devices end, thanks for the confirmation. As long as I can login into steam though not 100% of the time, thats good enough just some minor time wasted not a big deal. SEA is one of the largest sub continents though poor has a very wide spread internet use.

Asia region is the most user in the world , but as guess still dont explan the highway or pipe or web or matrix into them. ( and thats is a ISP issue with steam in other end. )

Global map point of view, this dont mean you should accpet bad connection into steam it just a good view ,,ahh make sense in heavy populated area.

under the map some region has show "Show US States" then they actual dont have problem if we look at map. so many steam server is also a spreedout policy.

and we as user should not waste our time with such , but without it , then how will you know a issue.

same issue here for SG for more than 2 weeks already, its just permanent stuck at 87.5%. I would click connect offline mode, then change to online once I'm in. somehow it works
