my steamwebhelper.exe always got A breakpoint has been reached, Error 0x80000003
this happen after i update my steam

is there a way to fix it?

Exit steam, browse to steam install location , run as admin on steam.exe ( to see if that will work )

turn off beta or on try flip flop the issue and see if it work in normal.

after some research turns out its memory leak caused by corrupted user profiles.

now the problem is fixed

How did you solve it? Is there any other way to solve it besides reinstalling the system?

Dont trust anything from 2021 and to now, most of them code is now been seen as VC+++ issue, they even do that then you dont have game requirement, alot of things has been learn in that year about them codes, problem is only MS know them its system codes with why or something dont work.

cant say all of them can be same error notice this OP code is diffrent.

replug all USB device even ( this is not a joke )

dongle to usb controller you name it, ( all attached usb units )

also MS sigend VC+++
that is a newer build version and system now tell a newer version is installed
even this could be related to brake down of VC+++
problem is we all have diffrent hardware, you wont see logic in this.

all previous VC+++ version should be uninstall and run all-in-on as ADmin, that fix my performance issue , cant say it will help here, i never got a crash code. but those code is seen as VC+++ issue now. problem is to proof it.

do note one thing, as one of the many helper here we can disagree alot, but we have all learn most newest Driver version should be best to use. and we are back at your problem as user to deal with it.

And dont expect MS do a force update. this is a thirdpart issue only.
my Neigbour dont play game , he dont have VC+++ installed at all, not even the old once

so problem is more then you have it, or old VC++ Build version thats not update.
this is a Garmer Related issue only, ( point is dont expect any here agree on anything and it dont help with steam outdate version. ) and take game devs with you on that topic. its not game devs job to update your pc .. what a mind blow here. you need a headache pille after that explanation.

Only skilled people with programing or educate people that know such can help you, im not them im a faulthy finder and help them then things not working, and there it is steam use what games devs did then they made it.

and they are so many build after now, its a joke.

thanks for all the infos!! i appreciate it, i found out the problem was corrupted windows user profiles, so making a new one fix the problem ;)

Might not help you now, next user do a safeboot mode, and SFC /scannow ( google it )

and we wont get any closer before someone have a clue what it might or can be or is parrt of what 0x80000003 is. you can google it but it wont be so easy until someone nail it.

use process hacker > top left corner > Hacker (file menu basically) > Run as > Click Desktop > WinSta0\Winlogon > Click Username > click NT AUTHORITY\System ... and run steam.exe that way. its definitely a user profile permissions problem or hard drive permissions
