You really need to brush up on your common sense if your reply is "I didn't know how it worked". Because that's not what common sense is.
If you are unsure about how anything works then don't do it. We've seen users lose inventory items worth $4,000+ before and users paying out $1000+ to 'Steam admins' to have their accounts 'verfied' upon deposit.
If someone tells you to do something, it is not for your benefit and if you don't understand it, you will get absolutely rinsed and have your account at risk on top.
