My monitor screen sometimes goes black after I bumped it with my phone

degaussing or reset depend on monitor type if this is eletronic interference , if this physical , check cable is attach and power is not loose in the plug. ( also other end, power outlet, and pc connection i have no other idea's

old reset Turn off monitor even standby so lights goes out wait atleast 10 sec to all left over power is off. then check to see that help.

some monitor has hold Menu button in to reset other have factory reset option OSD options.
