Customize steam notif sound?
can we change any steam incoming notification sound (e.g friend's chat while in-game) with another sound? because i dont wanna mute it, i just wanna change it to a less boring sorta chime sound

im thinking about changing it to ae86 speed chime sound, or my moms 2008 crv seatbelt chime, that will be cool

i heard you can do this year ago but now steam wouldnt allow it since 2017??

i just dont like the default incoming message sound, especially the 3rd gen sound its so lame

Valve made it so we can no longer do that (through editing the files) when they updated the Chat UI in 2018.
