But now all F2P games are showing in my Library.
It would be a nice feature if only F2P games that we add to custom categories stay shown in Library.
But currently, every singe F2P games is shown in my Library and I can't easily find games that I bought.
Or you could use the hidden feature.
Yeah. Added back into the library.
They’ve gone back to showing them even when not installed? A common sense decision but it’s going to irritate the hell out of the people who requested them to not show up.
Still, the whole point of a beta is to test stuff and illicit feedback.
And I’d presume that there’s no obvious pattern as to what shows and what doesn’t. Well, hopefully it will all become clearer as the beta goes on.
Before uninstalling a F2P game removed it from your library unless you bought some kind of stuff in the game in steam
You can simply hide F2P games by again
* Mass selecting via ctrl-click or shift click
* right click->Manage->Hide Selected games
If you need help selecting use the filter tag for "Free To Play" then mass select-hide
( I will wait for the post-beta version : thanks for those suffering the test )
Out of curiosity from a non-beta user - does this also include free games, of which one has removed the license from the account?
https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
You'll see it in your Library.
I used this to register all free games to my account
https://steamdb.info/freepackages/
And now I basically see every single free game that exists on Steam in my Library.
And there's no way to show only games that I paid for.
So removing the license does work? I mean, I do so anyhow for free games, that I uninstall, because I don't want to litter my newsfeed with them.
