New Steam Library not working
I'm a beta partecipant from some months now, and I was excited about the new library. I've installed the update, but the library is not working: grey screen appears without nothing on it.

Any tips to fix this?

This is what I see [imgur.com]

Manually check for Steam client updates in the settings.

Wasn't working for me, either, even though I had Beta participation turned on from the beginning.

All I did to solve the problem was restart Steam, click on the "Steam" drop-down menu in the top left corner of the client, click "Check on Steam Client Updates", and after doing so it told me my client was the "latest version" and restarted again for me. After the restart, the new library appeared out of nowhere.

You have to contact the skin maker to update the skin for the new UI.

It's kinda obvious that a custom skin wasn't updated yet to be compatible with the new layout, so problems are kinda to be expected.

I was using my custom skin, never modified it so I forgot that I was using it. I'm dumb, thank you!

I have this same problem. In fact, for years now, the store has not displayed at all in the Mac version of the client. This has been incredibly frustrating to me as I have scoured the internet for solutions and none of the standard restart your computer, update the client, disable skins, etc. solutions have ever worked. I have a Windows desktop too, so I've been able to manage. But NOW... my library is doing the same thing! So I can't even play on my laptop at this point. This is ridiculous that this has been a years old issue and they still haven't fixed it. I'm growing to be very disappointed in Valve and their lack of even a response to this issue.

Did you find a solution to not being able to access your library on your laptop?

I had the same problem, Steam client won`t load any webviews like Library, Store, Profile etc. in the latest Steam stable release as of July 9th. However, I found a solution. In Steam>Settings>Interface, I deactivated all options below the skin setting, which means all options that need to use the GPU or render interface content. Restart Steam and check if the issue still appears. It fixed my client and everything looks and runs normally again.

As an alternative, even when I had the issue, I could still use Big screen mode and access everything, not the most comfortable way but better than not being able to play your games. Hope I could help.
