Disconnected by VAC: You cannot play on secure servers in CS:GO

I have tried everything in this article and i am still getting this error in CS:GO

It has been happening for 2 days and only started after i factory reset my pc

For now, opt into the Steam client beta in your settings. They patched the issue there.

I opt into the beta and i still get this error. I have read that it might be something to do with a fresh install and the journal being empty and you have to just wait.

I didn't do anything thats the thing. As i said it sorted itself out.

Apparently an older VAC module is checking the USN journal of traces for an old cheat. The VAC authentication error is the result of the USN being empty as meassurement against the cleaning of the files to hide the traces.

In that case you need to use your system as usual, especially install applications and use them to fill up the journal. So the problem should be fixed magically after some time.

Everything i did didnt work, then i went to uni and came back and it was fine.
