wasted hours
So, me and my friend recently bought killing floor 2 off of cdkeys. and it took me like 2 days to download because for some reason my internet had a stroke. like i usually get 1.5 MB/s download speed but now i had 50-90 KB/s download speed. not 500, 50. and after it finally downloaded it got stuck at 100% and then randomly jumped backwards, reversing hours of patience and started downloading again at 86%.

I have no idea what just ♥♥♥♥ing happened or how i can fix it and i am staring at my computer screen about to cry in anger. does anyone know why this just cursed me and how to get it back to 100% without waiting another 24 hours?

Uninstall the game reinstall. Seems this is mentioned to fix stuck at 99%
Also delete Steam web cache and Steam Downloads cache.

So after the game downloaded a second time while i was asleep it said that 30896 files weren't downloaded correctly and now i have to re-download 3 GB of the game, still only at 50 KB/s. no other downloads are having this horrid download speed, just KF2

Your Anti-Virus might be causing these issues. You really don't have to worry about Steam downloads and should put all Steam folders in the exclude list for your AV...
