How to activate fallout 4 DLC purchased from microsoft?

I bought the contraptions DLC for Fallout 4 from the Microsoft store with a gift card that I got for free. Now I have absolutely no idea how to activate it, does anyone have any ideas?

Prety much. You can only view Fallout 4 if you're in the xbox store. The only fallout game on the "windows PC' store is fallout shelter

It is, however that is a physical copy sent to you which should require steam.

Every other item i can find on there all have a "For Xbox" on their page.

Yea I did lol I bought the xbox version by accident so yea now I know. You also can refund it which also sucks.
