mic doesn't work in games.. but works in discord

Hey.. My mic used to work just fine in everything but all of a sudden a couple weeks ago it stopped working in-game. It doesn't get picked up by any of my games and it doesn't even get piced up in the steam settings when I try to test it. It still works fine in discord but it's really annoying that it doesn't work in any of my games.. pubg, fortnite, h1z1, csgo, overwatch, rainbow six siege etc... The only fix I saw for it was to uninstall gefore experience, so I did that but it still doesn't work... any ideas.. please?

how did this work out for you? i have a friend who has had the same issues listed and they tried things like voicemod to no avail

Win + R to open the search box, type "mmsys.cpl" and press Enter to open the "Sound" interface, right-click your device > Properties> Advanced tab, you will see enable audio enhancement just turn off that and apply it work for me
