I cant add my gift to my inventory help?

recently I accidentally purchased terraria as a gift. The steam website said I could redeem it for myself and I tied but the option to add to library did not appear.

Where did you purchase the gift? Steam store only allows to buy it for yourself or to send it as a gift to a friend.

I assume you bought a Steam game key.

To redeem Steam games keys you go to your client, button left side you see a + sign, click on it, then click on activate product, then enter in your code.

Or you can do it from browser.

And if i try to gift it it will say reschedule your gift but nothing shows up?

If it was added to your inventory after buying it then it will be there.

Click on your gift, click on button "Add to library" and thats about it.
