View a History of what you added to your cart?

Often i add a number of items to my Cart for, example when they go on sale to mull over which ones i want to buy and the Cart is empty, for example the next Day?

Is there a way to disable this or a way to see what you had in your Cart before Steam decided to remove them?

Its really annoying man?

I sometimes take a screenshot of my Cart if i added a few items but often i forget and can't remember the next day?

Why dont you use the wishlist option?

I use wishlist but its very long lol, i kind of use the Wishlist to add games to to keep an eye on or so i get notified when they go on sale, its kind of a broad list.

I add a handful of stuff to the Cart like i said to mull over if i really want to pick them up on sale but often a day or so later i find Steam has emptied my Cart and i can't remember what i put in it lol.

Go to Help menu, then:
- Steam Support
- My account
- Data related to my account

Click "Help" in the very top bar, then choose "Steam Support". From there it's "My Account", "Data Related to my Account" and on the next screen you'll see the third option (at least with me) is "Shopping Cart History".

My thanks for both the question and the answer - I hadn't expected this detail to be available and have been struggling with items vanishing from my cart for years. Glad I finally decided to check.

Cart history isn't stored forever.
