Since rocket league is no longer on steam and I really want bakkesmod and workshop maps. Can I then buy a rocket league code on g2a and then redeem it and download rocket league?

You get the game on Steam no issues, it depending if the Epic server be the problem or not, not sure what will happen for new license claims coming from Steam as you're required to use Epic login.

Epic games and Psyonix should have let it be free on epic games launcher and on steam let it cost like 15 dollars. Then people could choose between if they want to be able to download bakkesmod and workshop maps on steam or just get it for free on epic games

We don't even know if they decided to revoke all game keys that weren't activated yet. It is basically, purchase at your own risk.

RL is no longer available to purchase on Steam. Whether keys can be activated on Steam is unknown as the game is now f2p. Contact Epic.

Important - buying from scam sites is not advised.
