Autocomplete in steam?

Hey!
For some reason I suddenly started having the autocomplete feature when typing in steam chat or even while typing this thread right now.

It keeps giving me suggestions for words to try and autocomplete but it's getting quite annoying...
Is there a way to disable that?

Note: it only happens in steam. I tried typing some stuff in my firefox/chrome browser, and it doesn't do that over there..

Any ideas?

This isn't a Steam feature I'm aware of in the desktop client. Are you using the mobile client?

I'm testing this by copying this discussion from Steam client to my Chrome web browser.
Just to see if ny of the browser settings could effect Steam only.
The only place to type into your browser is at the search addess bar.
Check your browser's settings.
So i'm getting the impression maybe you have worded this incorrectly.

Do you mean Steam spell check by any chance?
Steam is spell checking your words and some are in red?

Actually, that doesn't also happen on steam, it also happens anywhere else, for some reason it didn't show up at first when I tried typing something on my browser.
But yeah, it appears anywhere now. smh.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough with that.
It's probably window's fault, but how can I disable that ;-;? Windows 10 by the way.

Windows will not auto complete in Steam or your browser.
Auto complete cannot happen in Steam client.
I am using Steam in my browser.

You say its happening in both Firefox and Chrome?
I understand you maybe having a language problem or a translator is doing a bad job.
Could you post a screenshot if possible of the comments box in Steam browser that shows what you are getting?

Happens almost anywhere else, too.
Maybe autocomplete is the wrong word for it, but that is what it is trying to do... .-.
