Can Players From Uplay And Steam Play Together?

i was thinking about getting rainbow six siege through "cdkeys" however the price gap for uplay codes and steam codes are £10 so i want to get uplay code. would i still be able to play and invitre riends who bought through steam? (any feedback would be appreciated :) )

To answer your question though, yes. Steam Store bought Ubisoft games activate through Uplay all the same.

there sould not be a issue even though you play through steam you still need to go via uplay
