bought a game from steam and it shows in my library that i havent purchased it
So i bought PUBG from the store this day and it was downloading for like 20 minutes, suddenly it said there was an error and it stopped the download. when i checked my library it was showing a "purchase" button below the title of the game and not "play". I checked the game on the store but it didnt say that the game was on my library...

You don't own the game on the account you are posting from.

Check your puechase history on Steam. What does it say? Also whats "an error"? You got an error text!

my purchase history says i purchased the game i even have the receipt in my email account.

as it was downloading a window popped and said there was an error downloading the game. i only read the first line so i didnt know exactly what the error said

Do you have multiple Steam Accounts?, if yes are you sure you're on the correct Steam Account?.

i have multiple ones but im sure im in the right steam account as my purchase history says i bought the game

It doesn't appear to be as the account you are posting from owns no games, is limited and hasn't been used for 6 days.

Still, the account you are using to post here doesn't own it.

And while there are tons of reports from people claiming they they don't have a game that they have bought, I'm not aware of any confirmed reports of Steam actually loosing games -- it's always "wrong account".

Steam is showing that my account didnt buy the game but my purchase history still has the reciept and evidence that i bought it
