Steam support deleted my account access
My main account got deleted by Steam Support.
I selflocked my account on accident i told them but by stress and i couldnt handle things i told em i got account from family. Now they deleted my access and deleted my account.
It is on the email adress: @*.* what is wrong with Steam Support?
They gave me headache and broke my day in one message.
If they don't give me access back again i'll ask a refund for all my games.
I hate my life now and want to do nothing now. I am gonna get some medicine right now and call my lawyer for sure.

They don't remove accounts; they terminate them only and only if you tell them to do so. What's the message suggesting that took place?

Regarding the self-lock: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6416-FHVM-3982

Sounds like he selflocked his account and when he wanted to unlock it he could not provide the ownership evidence Steam demands since he got the account from someone else in his family.
Which is against the Steam TOS and can lead to the permanent suspension of the involved account.

That would at least be an explanation for what he wrote.

The account OWNER needs to recover their account by sending valid proof to Steam support.

You're right, I somehow completely missed this:

This support article might help as it shows what can be used as proof of ownership:

And the answer is fairly clear there.

Just like what Ogami posted,

Yeah, you don't get to use someone else's account. There is no account sharing nor gifting nor selling.

Or you're lying now.

You've said "family" (starting post), "friend" (to support in image) and now "mine."

If it was yours, surely you'd have had the proof to claim it yours to begin with.

Yeah, and I don't see why I should believe you after all this.

Not that my belief plays a role in any of this anyway, but you've dug your hole with Steam Support. Whether or not it was a lie to begin with.

At this point I'd imagine they'll trust you only if they find data suggesting that the account hasn't switched hands, whether or not that's really a priority is a whole different matter.

I am saying 1 thing..
Or either i get my account back or i get a refund for my games.

Just know that chargebacks in this context are fraud.
Ogami Dec 18, 2017 @ 1:02am
Yeah, the "stress" thing is very unbelievable. That came only into play after Steam deleted your access.

Simple fact is you broken the rules. So either get you friend/family member to unlock the account for you with Steam Support since he should have the information they want or make a new account.
Only options.

They are not YOUR games. The licenses for those games are tied to that account. You are not the owner of that account. So those games legally belong to your friend/family member or whoever gave it to you.
Its that simple.
