Stuck at creating local game files

Every game i try to install gets stuck at creating local game files and wont start downloading.

I looked for an answer already but nothing worked, tried to install steam a few times, just did a fresh install of win 10 and i still cant download anything. hlp pls

This could be a problem with your hard drive, or that your drive is old and just too slow. I would suggest getting a tech over to see if your hard drive is living up to these days.

nope, new hdd bought a few months ago, i tried it on my other ones, still doesnt work, wont even restore backuped games

Still could be a problem with the hard drive, try checking it for errors and testing the speed.

I have a similar issue. Can't install/download new games. It just hangs there. And when the steam restarts the game says it want's to download but it is not downloading and then I can't remove that game. Only when I connected over the VPN it started to work. This started to happen I think from yesterday but I was not giving it much thought at the time. Like I can not connect to steam download servers normally.

I just tried tunnelbear, worked fine everything was downloading, connected to germany with tunnel bear and steam download region was set to iceland. I turned off tunnel bear and couldnt download again. Must be my isp? Im in Croatia,Optima telekom isp. Everything else with the internet works fine.

The same thing, same ISP, I called them about it and they act like idiots saying if the internet works it is not their issue. I lost my nerves talking to them.

Bio sam na H1 dok Optima nije kupila H1 i migrirala korisnike kod sebe. Od kada sam kod Optime a nije dugo nekih 2 mjeseca samo problemi sa internetom.

e pa tako nesto zadnjih 2 mjeseca je i najgore , neradi ni Tv kako treba a eo dosad san moga prigrmit taj net koj je sranje jer mi je komp vanzemaljski. i jutros odem upalit dotu da update queded i sve 0, program drugo nemoze nista
