Shekel to Dollar/Euro/Any other currency

If a friend buys me a game and he's from Europe, the U.S or whatever currency would he be able to buy it for me someone who uses Shekels? With previous purchases I had problems where I couldnt buy things for friends who lived in Europe (in the period Steam in Israel still used dollars) due to different areas.

Will the change of the Shekel effect this?

If the difference in price beween the 2 Steam stores after currency conversion is greater than 10%, you can not gift the game.

Read the FAQ at the bottom of that page first.

You can also tell him how much it will cost for you and if it is over the minimum amount required for the digital card (or the other way around for him), you can have him do this...
