Missing DLL? HELP! cant run games

Been trying to find a fix for an hour, dont feel like reading through hundreds of "fixes" to have them all fail or delete something I shouldnt. Anyways, Im trying to launch mad max through steam, it says preparing to launch and the outline of my profile turns green like im in game, for about 3 seconds then closes. no error, nothing. so I try running as admin through the game file, running the .exe and I get an error that reads "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem" Have no idea what this means but anyone have a fix? same thing is happening with Killing Floor 2, click start, turns green like im in game and closes within a matter of seconds. PLEASE HELP!

In the game's folder should be a folder named "_CommonRedist", and within that should be "vcredist". Start from the latest year in that folder (2015 for KF2) and run the installer.

MSVCP100.dll is part of MicroSoft Visual C++.

I recently upgraded my PC a few months ago, I got a new processor, motherboard, graphics card, do i need to install Microsoft visual C++? Im running windows 10

The game seems to think you need it installed. I'd give the game the benefit of the doubt on this, they tend not to listen to your well reasoned arguments.

if reinstalling the game is what you're implying im not about to do that, there must be an easier fix

So I checked, I have the latest version of C++, still have yet to check the commonredist folder because kf2 is installing

If that's what I meant, that's what I would have said. Instead, I told you to reinstall the Microsoft VC++ runtimes found in the game's folder.

Checked by running the installer, or by comparing version numbers?
Did you check the Mad Max folder? I only mentioned KF2 because I have that installed and could grab the exact names/layout. There is nothing special about KF2's version of the runtimes.

I installed and repaired this version from the commonredist folder in mad max and still get the same start for 4 seconds, then close. Tried running the .exe as an admin and still the .dll error persists

Checked the KF2 folders, the exact same as the Mad Max folders, and its odd, I couldnt find an .exe to try to run the game as admin anywhere, it does the exact same thing mad max does, opens, says im in game then closes.
