Hi! it's 2 years that i cant play to Warhammer Dawn of War II Retribution. When i try to start the game steam say me: Impossible to start the game: '''' (0x36B1)

I have just tryed to reinstall visual C++, unistall the game and reinstal whit steam and whit CD and stop antivirus.

Please some one can help me?

you will install vc++ redist 2005, 2008, 2010 both x86 & x64 if use x64 OS + all servicepacks for vc++

i have to reinstalla all vc++? i have just reinstalled vc++ 2017 i have to reinstall the all other?

this game from 2010. it use old visual c++. visual c++ redistributables NOT cumulative
you need for each application its own version of the library (dll)
vc++ 2017 useless for this game (if executable files in steam version not rebuild with new visual studio)

Got the issue when trying to launch FSX. Go to the link below and download file (vcredist_x86.EXE). Easy fix, worked for me!

Read the date. He was already explained he need to install VC++.

Steam should be able to provide all drivers you needed. If you're not getting all the drivers for whatever reason you can search my post history for Dropbox, and get all the drivers you ever need, I update it once in blue moon only if there driver updates example when 2015 got replaced with 2017, then again for 2019, and again for 2020 stuff like that.

Otherwise you can google for download page for Microsoft page to get the drivers I assume they're still there.
