Left 4 Dead 2 Beta Stuck On PC?
So I used my buddy's account to install Left 4 Dead awhile back (the first one), and I'm pretty sure it installed the Left 4 Dead 2 Beta without me knowing. Here's my problem:
This beta, is taking up 18.1 *GB* on my hard drive, and I can't uninstall it. I've googled it relentlessly, and nothing. I've searched in the steam folder and have found nothing, no game files, no folders, nothing. There's nothing there, yet I have this large game I want to delete on my computer.
If anyone knows how to fix this, please help. I'm begging for a solution.

Right click the game in your library, click properties, betas, then click opt out from the drop down menu. Example:

The beta doesn't appear in the steam library or when I click on the game. Like I said, there's nothing there, no files, no folders, nothing.

How do you know the beta is taking up space if there's no files?

There's an uninstall option in settings, which tells me it's there, but not there.

In what settings? Does it say in Windows Explorer that you are missing space?

That literally means nothing. Its telling me Witcher 3 is 10mb when its 42gb. To be honest that entire menu is almost always useless when it comes to games that are post steam/origin/uplay/gog.
