Help! I have a problem moving games from ssd to Hdd.
Hello
I need space on my ssd drive so i tried to move the steam folder with few games to my other steam folder on the Hdd drive. Then i deleted the steam folder in my C:(ssd). (I know now how I should have moved the games, but now too late).

So the problem is, when i open Steam every game is unistalled. But when i look in the my drive storages they should be "still existing", because I dont have more available storage. So now I tried to uninstall the games "for real". I went to general settings on my computer and tried to uninstall the games which are/were on my ssd. But it says : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe" cant be found. Make sure the name is correct and try again. (translated from german). (And btw the Icons of the games are all the same, it shows now the icon when there is none probably- makes sence tho)

So it says "...\steam.exe cant be found" thats why i wanted to copy my steam folder from D: (Hdd) to C: again... but i dont have enough space to move the folder back, because the games are still existing on my ssd. And literally all the other stuff besides few mb on my ssd are from Windows system and i cant delete that of course. (If i want to copy steam folder to ssd, i need 40Gb, but i have only 12Gb availabe atm)

I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!

Delete your copied folder, then install steam again and download all the games again.

Never move the steam folder, always move the steamapps folder which is in the steam folder.

Leave steam where it is and create a new steam library folder and either manually move the steamapps folder when steam is off or move the games via steam in the properties for the games.

Follow that guide to fix whatever you did.
