Steam group - Discussion | How to find a specific user from the banlist ?

Hello,

Is there any way to find a specific user banned from the discussion (banlist) of a Steam group except by doing ctrl+f on each page ?

Because there is a way to find an user from the chat banlist through a search bar:

Enter the discussion page and find the user's comment. Then you should be able to see a red mark that says banned on it.

Just checked, but i also don't have a search bar on the forum ban page.
Seems like it's ctrl+f only ^^

Yes I know that, what I want is an easy way to find a specific user from the discussion ban page (similar to the search bar of the chat ban page as showed above, (this: https://gyazo.com/92771a0c45c2d4c491c44610402796f5 ))

Missed this reply, prob is that we have 245+ page, doing ctrl+f on each is waste of time, I would like to unban a specific user and I just can't find him... :/

If someone get banned from the group and change its nickame after some time, does the ban list is updated with the new nickname or the ban display the previous nickname that had the user when he was banned ?

I tried to kick him from the group and invite him back but it doesn't work

I don't understand why there's one search bar for the chat and not for the discussion

Steam related bans are by the user ID, which stays always the same, no matter if you change your nick. For me for example: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197978241342

So no matter the name change, ban will stay.

yes I know about id64, and I know the ban will stay, even if the user change to another nickname

What I mean is: if I ban an user with the nickname "User1" and after a week that user set another nickname, let's say "User2", does the ban list will show "User1" or "User2" ?

Edit: I checked on google before making this post, i'm surprised that no one ever had this problem before..

Should I contact Steam support ? maybe if I give them the group ID and the account they could unban it

Through a web browser:
1. Go to Manage Forum Bans
2. Right click the page and inspect element
3. Go to Console
4. Paste: ManageBans_Unban('id64','UserNickname')
(replace id64 and UserNickname with correct info) and hit enter

Sorry to necro this, but I really wanted to say thank you for sharing this workaround, it worked perfectly for me and saved me flicking through hundreds of pages of banned users in our group.

It's embarrassing that 4 years later this is still a problem. No wonder Discord did so well on arrival.
