I NEED HELP WITH MY PC! HIGH END PC RUNNING LOW FPS!
So my pc is running horribly! i have a high end PC and i paid alot of money for this! My specs are

Gigabyte 1080ti gaming OC 11G
i5-8600k oc to 4.2GHZ
16GB DDR4 RAM
Gigabyte Z370 AORUS GAMING 3 (Motherboard)

My pc runs gpu intensive games well! mostly 100 frames on max like pubg and dead by daylight on max but when it comes to CPU intensive games they all run like hot garbage like my fps is mostly 50 to 60 stable and even goes to 30... and sometimes rarely 100 FPS near water places where there is emptyness and whenever i lower my graphics that doesnt help the frames stay the same not improved nor decreased i know this sounds like it could be bottlenecking but that's impossible! i just recently upgraded from a i7-6700 to i5-8600k and + my friend has the same exact specs but his motherboard is the Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING and his framerate is like 20 + more fps than mine and his games run well on cpu intensive games we tried comparing frames! this pisses me off so bad cuz i payed so much money for this and its not running the way its suppose to PLEASE HELP!! My friend has the GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti Turbo 11G

You have lots of used RAM when you did the test. lots of stuff running?
When you are running the CPU intensive games, how much of the CPU are they using?
For example, if the CPU is 100% used by your PC, how much of that is the game and what is the top 3 processes that use it?

the % of my cpu doesnt get used much in cpu intensive games for some reason idk why... and when i lower my graphics the cpu % lowers itself

How much is that? How much of the CPU use is the game and total use and what other things use it?
And never mind about the RAM, I read it backwards..
