Steam is preventing system power down

basically what the titel says, everytime i shut down my pc, the message comes up that "this app needs to be closed" i have tried a clean install of windows 10 to fix it and nothing. im on lastest windows 10 build right now. Now i wonder if this is steam's fault or windows.

Anyone else experince this ?

How are you exiting Steam? Explain your steps on this.

windows shut's it down automatically, when i power down. just the fact that steam is trying to prevent shut down is weird.

Exit Steam properly and this will never happen.

Steam is not trying to prevent shutdown. Its still running. All apps have to be closed before the OS can shut down. If you don't want it to happen. Shutdown Steam your self before shutting down the PC.

excatly "all apps have to be closed before the os can shutdown" but that's something windows used to do right away, without and not take secounds to close down steam automatically, that's stupid if i have to exit steam manually before shutting down my pc, to dodge that message.

WHich is exactly why WIndows took so long to shutdown before WIndows 10. You can't handle 2 clicks and about 5 seconds..
