Where can i find a product code?
Sooo my friend gave me an old game of his. Its a CD but when i want to install the game it says i need product code. I tried looking on the CD but i found nothing. Anybody know where i can find it?

the cd would not work for you. activation keys are 1 time only. also, the game has to be a steam version. talk to your friend about it, codes are either on the jewelcase or a piece of paper that came with the disks.

If it's really old, the code might be fine. Look behind the CD, the back of the manual, and the back of the case.

Theres nothing. Only the CD and the box or whatever you call it

The product code would have come with the CD and would have been in the manual, on a seperate piece of paper, etc. There is no way to get the code if its not there.

As its been said though, a product code doesn't mean the game installs on steam even if you had it. In this case if there is no product code for the game its basically a coaster and useless.
