Is there a way to quickly clean broken screenshots that shows like an exclamation mark?
I generally took a lot of screenshots, then remove most of them (from the folder since it is a lot easier). Is there an easy way to clean that exclamation marks from Screenshots window?

sounds like steam dont see the removed content, try restart it, to see if that help, or you already did this then enter own profile and clean up lost entry you manual delete because steam cant do it for you.

confirm it either way so solution is made not even i know , or i just use steam own screenshort place to delete them there.

i think there was a steam server issue sametime, even my screenshort folder was gone as it never had files. you could have had same effect then you fiddle with yours.

steam issue dont seem to end or network issue to it.
i was upload a minor bug picture and system told me new emyty screenshot folder. rofl. not even sure its funny, but now it make sense why you might have issue also.

seem to work now.

we need other ppl input here.

Recheck the place where steam kept them, i think steam server has a problem then you did it.
i only discover that later then i try to upload it.

Can't you just select the screenshots within that window and then delete?

For those that don't want to have to search the answer is click show on disk go 2 folders above you'll find a folder named "remote" that stays and a file called "screenshots.vdf" which you can delete or rename. Then exit Steam reload Steam and go back to View>Screenshots as you click around you should get see it rebuild the database with no exclamation marks... Done... I'd deleted around 1000 screenshots out of 5 game folders couldn't face having to go through pages and pages clicking and deleting... Hope this helps people UCG...

DON'T USE THIS! It makes it impossible to upload other screenshots!

Yeah it appears to have nothing but then rebuilds, was really bugging me. I've have the exclamation marks for about two months but couldn't fix it then the other day... I was doing a clear up and just thought what the hell I'm either going to move the files out or fix it so I renamed the file and it worked... I'm glad that worked for you!

Big oopsie, looks like using this method makes it impossible to upload other screenshots -_-
