Need help with finding out what game a DLC Steam key belongs to.

I've got a DLC Steam key for an unknown game, and Steam is not telling me what game it is. Anyone know how to find out what game the key belongs to?

The error message I get is:
"The product code you've entered requires ownership of another product before activation. If you are trying to activate an expansion pack or downloadable content, please first activate the original game, then activate this additional content."

I assume it's probably just a flaw in Steam and that I'll never find out what game the DLC belongs to, leaving the key to collect dust in a text document on my PC. But any help is appreciated, if there's anything I can do to find out.

I can't seem to find "filter properties" anywhere. And nothing appears in the console after trying to activate the key.

Honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm completely hopeless when it comes to stuff with consoles and that shenanigans.

Here's a more detailed description, on how I did it on Firefox:

1. Open browser.
2. Hit F12 button to the console.
3. Go to this link: https://store.steampowered.com/account/registerkey
4. Submit your key.
5. Submitting your key and failing the activation, will return the data you want to your browser. You can review this saved data somewhere in the console you just opened.
6. Here's how I found it.
6.1. On the console, go to the "Network" tab.
6.2. Inside the Network tab, click on the item that says "post", under the "method" column.
6.3. Picking the post item will open up a frame (on the right).
6.4. Look at the frame and click on the "Response" tab.
6.5. Under that tab, expand the JSON item "purchase_receipt_info".
6.6. Inside that expanded item you will finally find the "line_items", you mentioned.
7. There you will find the name of the DLC ("line_item_description").
8.1. Although you don't need it, you can also find the application id ("packageid"), which you can also submit to https://steamdb.info/sub/packageid/.
8.2. Just replace "packageid" on the link with that data number you found.
