The BBcode tags are limited to what you see in the formatting help.

Valve never implemented this since there's absolutely no need for it.

If you wish to highlight something, you can use the tags that produce a bolded or underlined text.

There are more alternatives with such tags; so ensure to play with them and see what works for you and looks appealing.

Ok thx, but I know I should not, but I have to say it is strange that you say there are absolutely no need for it, I see plenty of uses, and I`m sure others do as well.

Try not to force your opinions on others as if they were the only correct and possible way. If that makes sense as my knowledge in english is not that deep. No offense, just criticism.

Why do you we need colored text? — To highlight something or show its importance.

The same can be achieved using the other tags.

It's the same reason why the [img] tags were not included - as there's an alternative.

By now, you'd assume that if Valve saw its importance; they'd implement it.

Right - it doesn't make any senses as i never said that it's the only possible thing.

If you want a workaround.. You can still use transparant text within images or use images for each letter. (that can be colored). You just can't copypaste colored text format. But these kind of things would only be usefull for guides and stuff.

Sorry about the naming :)..... I haven`t gone anywhere mate, just pointing out you don`t have to be so simple in your posts.

I don`t need a workaround, just asked, and followed through on the trolling.

No one said anything about it being nonsensical.

The odd attack that you've launched is contradicting simplicity.
