Can you play steam games without being logged in?
My steam account was hacked a couple of weeks back and I've tried twice to retrieve it back through the steam support page however, since I don't have the original information that was used to create it, they won't accept my information. I'm basically stuck with all of the games that I purchased and that are downloaded but unable to play them considering I no longer have the account. Is there some way I can still play them without having access to the account? I've spent well over a thousand dollars on games so it would be very annoying If I just lose it all.

You cannot play games without being logged in - the account purchases show that you own the game content.

That is - you have a licence and acquisition method.

You can contact support with proof of ownership...

Of course not. How can you not provide proof of ownership? I'd have kept all the receipts, transaction IDs, Steam wallet cards etc. used with the account.
In fact, i do have all that stuff, even back to my very first purchase 11 years ago.

I don't have the original email. I already put in everything from cd-keys, transaction IDs, passwords, etc.

That thread literally had no question involving this. If you aren't going to be of help, just don't reply.

Support asks for specific things. You must provide them with that info.

Provide Steam Support with proof of ownership.

I'm quite sure that was covered in the guide made by that user.

You can try, SP games that do not have additional DRM can be played off line. Even u-play can be set to work in off-line mode for all but the latest Ubisoft games, Denuvo DRM can not.

Disconnect your PC internet connection. Open steam, a log-in popup box will appear. Enter your user name and password and select log in. After the log-in attempt times out (about 1 min.) a popup box will appear, select try again. After this 2nd attempt times out a different popup box should appear and select continue in offline mode.

In off-line mode you will not be able to update, add DLC, trade/sell, no MP, no cloud save. I would still try to work with steam support to get your account back.
