There are 14 different models of the HP Envy 15. What is the exact model or what are the system specs?

Very few new games, maybe some older or simpler ones, some e-sport stuff on low perhaps, it's a fairly old laptop with no dedicated GPU so the options are very limited.
While the equivalent desktop CPU is still very viable, the same cannot really be said for the laptop, it's not really for gaming I am afraid.

alright thank you for your help! I wish i wouldve looked into the laptop more before buying.

By chance could you give me a hand by naming a few titles i could get?

Alas there's not much you can do. That laptop will struggle to run anything recent, your only options will be games from 2010 and earlier. 2-Dimensional Indie games like Terraria and Stardew Valley would also work.

I wish I could offer advice or solutions, but there's really nothing you can do in this situation bar replacing the laptop with a more powerful desktop.

Your issues stem from two sources. Laptops are ill-suited to gaming because of their small size. A gaming PC needs powerful Core and Graphical processors, but these are large parts and need bulky cooling systems. You can't cram those into a laptop, instead most laptops use components designed for office work. Even those sold as "gaming laptops" have components designed originally for business environments.

As technology advances, processors become more powerful, memory becomes denser and PCs can handle more complex tasks. Software becomes more demanding to match, so a PC will gradually become obsolete. Normally that takes many years, but Laptops age faster than most. You can't simply swap parts like you normally would, and laptop graphical processors become obsolete very quickly, since they lag far behind the desktop developments that drive gaming demands.

Ok that really sucks. Thank you for the info. I had zero info coming into this but now at least i know a little.

Picking games will be tricky. Anything from 2008 and earlier should be OK, and that does include some amazing games. But more modern titles are completely out of the question.

Your Laptop does not have a GPU. Graphical Processor Unit are powerful co-processors that handle the complex 3D rendering tasks needed to play games. Because you don't have one, that makes most currently existing games unplayable.
