Reset Featured and Recommended Suggestions?

I played Doki Doki Literature Club ONCE to see what was so good about it. After playing, I'm still not sure how it gets to the front page of reddit every now and then. Despite playing only ONE FREE TO PLAY visual novel, I am now exclusively recommended visual novels. I just don't get it. I buy and play a large variety of games, yet now I ONLY see crappy visual novel recommendations.

Is there a way to reset this setting or do I just have to live with seeing erotic furry men and amatuer anime women for the rest of my steam life? Opening steam in front of people now gives me anxiety.

Go to the store page of a few of said games and flag them as 'Not interested'. This should reduce the amount of games from that genre you get on your front page. You can also flag the entire category as 'Not interested'

Go to Doki Doki Literature Club's store page and click Not Interested.
