Non-Steam games with Steam Remote Play?

When trying to stream a non-steam game (like Satisfactory from the Epic Store), from my PC to my Laptop it just stays on the loading screen forever even though the game is open. Is there a way to fix this? Do I need to change something with the file location? If not, is there a way to connect another program and manually click into Satisfactory? It works just fine with some programs like Minecraft, so I'm not sure why it doesn't like these other games so much.

That seems to be more for the Remote Play Together though and doesn't exactly answer the problem I'm having
