screen flickering, pixels flying across screen when trying to play certain games
all my games used to work fine until a few months ago when most of them randomly started glitching when i tried to open them. Skyrim, Minecraft, Stardew Valley and Papers, Please all work fine, but any others, such as Fortnite, Youtuber's Life, Life is Strange and The Sims 4 just do not work. when i open them, green and blue pixels are all over the screen and after about 10 seconds, the screen will just go black and close the application. The only non-game where this has happened is on the Nvidia GeForce Experience app. I've tried to update my drivers, but it didn't do anything, and I'm not sure what else to do. I haven't found many people who have had a similar problem. Can anyone help?

Could be a driver issue, or a dying videocard.
If it's the original non-SE Skyrim then all those games you've mentioned that work are not really hardware heavy.
The others are more demanding on the hardware which would explain why some games run and others don't.
Had the same when my old videocard died.

Yup, graphics card's likely dying. Or the PSU. Reinstall the driver CLEANLY. Since that likely wont help anyway, run a stress test of the CPU with Prime95. If that runs fine, your graphics card is dying. If Prime95 errors as well, replace your PSU. But it's the graphics card with 0,95 certainty.
