How do you check temps under load? is that the task manager?

Your motherboard manufacturer typically has software to aid this. But there's a variety of generic software to manage this.

RAM = very low for modern gaming
motherboard = bad in general
And to top it off you're using 2 monitors on that setup which can really sap your resources... Especially if you have google chrome open while gaming, you don't have enough RAM for that, and 2060 isn't really a dual monitor card to begin with. Should use 2070 super or above for that.

Also are you trying to play games in 4k with that setup? 2060 is not high enough for 4k gaming; again 2070 super for that minimum typically, unless it's a super well optimized VR game like Alyx.

ok so when I'm playing games I need to set the second monitor off, and I do know that my ram is bad so I ordered another one, for my display can I go to display settings and change the displays will that help me crash less?

But would the primary issue be RAM?

if you're trying to run dual monitor then yes the primary issue is likely out of memory/RAM crashes.

ok so I turned off duel monitors and set my native resolution to 1920 by 1080 ran ran fallout 4 I didn't crash immediately but it the game only lasted for about 10 minutes before it crashed again so what issue would you suggest mite be causing the crashes now?

is your MOBO bios updated? Also, again, that PSU, you usually want gold certified and make sure you have at least 50-100W more than all your parts combined.

I think you're grossly overestimating how much power it takes to render a second screen. It's practically nothing to display the desktop, or a web browser. I can tell you this having been running dual monitors on several generations of GPU's from the 8800 series on up to a 1080 ti, and running dual monitors off an 3rd gen i7 iGPU at work.

The 2nd monitor shouldn't be a problem and I think once we sort out the reason for the crash you can verify for yourself a second monitor has very little impact on performance.

Frankly Kurumi doesn't know what he's talking about, and I don't make that claim lightly. I kinda knew someone was going to take one look at your specs and derail the topic critiquing the system and pretend a configuration they don't particularly like is the reason for the crashing. So I'm glad to see I wasn't disappointed there.

I will also expect other people will be critical of your hardware, but will also agree with me about the dual monitor aspect. Tons of people run dual monitors on all sorts of hardware so the consensus is going to go against Kurumi there methinks.

Although that being said, it does make me wonder, just to cross it off the list. Can you confirm you still experience crashes with only a single monitor plugged in? If yes we can rule that out, if no, we can look at that detail a little closer.
