I am getting about 5 friend requests a day from Chinese and Russian players, any way to stop this?
And all they want to do is rip me off for some half bs trade or send me to some 3rd party website to get a game, is there anyway to prevent this, because it's been going on for the past 3 months....

Not sure. You don't belong to any huge Steam groups, nor do you seem to have much of an inventory to go after. Both of those are common reasons for getting lots of unsolicited invites. Maybe you need to check and cull some of the people on your friends list. Possibly there is a link between someone there and the people sending the invites.

Set your inventory friends only, or make it private.

If you post on trading sites that people are seeking from you, then that may also be reason to look for you.

Not much else we can tell you, and best to ignore all friend request, unless you're expecting someone to add you.

I'll set my inventory to friends only.

I literally don't give two sh*ts about trades but within the past year I've been getting Chinese friend request spam which I've been blocking, but damn it's getting extremely annoying.

Sadly, I'm still receiving a lot of Chinese friend requests. Yes, they're easy to deny, but my goodness, I'm getting 1-3 per day. Chinese characters and everything.

Starting to think Steam sold out to China.

I doubt this is related to china, as this always been an issue since early 2000's when inventory gifting, and trading was added on Steam.

You don't seem to be part of a high risk group and it doesn't look like you use 3rd party sites either. However, you do have a substantial amount of friends and it's possible the bots are using one of those's friends list as the 'database' to farm this stuff out. Only a minority of people have this type of issue and it's usually down to dodgy groups, scam site usage and untrustworthy friends.
