"Depot download failed : Manifest not available"
I'm trying to install certain manifests of games, and I keep getting this error: "Depot download failed : Manifest not available". I've tried everything I could find on the internet to fix it and I have no luck. Any help?

Valve broke the depot thing in client @ last update, so when you want to do that, you must go over a third party tool (that can download the depot).

Thank you! I thought I was screwed. The readme wasn't helpful at all!
From watching the video, it gave me the impression that this game is somewhat separate from the Steam library even if you do own Hollow Knight through Steam already. Is this the case? Or can we just throw the exe in the game folder we already have in C:/blah/blah/blah?
came across for a older version of a game. Why is valve such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cu??? . note to self: one more reason to say fu??? steam. Denova being the other.
