If they are still there open the uploader and at the bottom view on disc.
They are still there; is it possible I can re-upload them to the steam cloud?

Why store them in Cloud rather than an external USB drive?
I got a 5TB USB Seagte expansion drive and backup all of Steam.
I just like having a backup online is all.
Keep extra copies on hard drives. backups that you can physically move around >>>> cloud anywhere. Remember, "there's no cloud, just other people's computers".
I never said it was perfectly safe online. And I don't really care about my screenshots enough to do that. Its easier to make a backup online by uploading them to the cloud when I take them, and I get to share them with my friends simultaneously.
I've had backups of my screenshots online for 5 years now and I've had no issues. I did have some non-Steam screenshots in my pictures folder, but they--no joke--just disappeared one day without warning. They weren't deleted, they just disappeared and I couldn't find a fix to bring them back.
You might be right in some aspects, but in my experience its much easier and safer to have them online instead of on my hard drive.
I'd say google docs, heck even just start a Deviantart account. it's free, anyway, so... nothing to lose. You can stick them in 'scraps' and no one even needs to see em.
