Steam Overlay rendered my keyboard unresponsive?
Never seen this problem before.

I was playing a game and as I changed to Steam Overlay to upload a screenshot I by accident hit the escape key which made my keyboard stop working except for a select few keys. After rebooting and reconnecting the keyboard it stopped working entirely with the lights not turning on and all keys stopped responding. So I was locked out of my computer for about one minute then it turned back on and everything went back to normal and I'm back playing game using the overlay. The only keys that worked when it got stuck in the overlay was escape, enter and a few number keys. I've tried now extensively testing the keyboard and nothing appears wrong with it, which would surprise me considering the keyboard is just a few months old.

Anyone else encountered this?

Seem like it went into unresponsive state for the overlay which cause inputs to be stuck basically. This can also happen when have things clash with the overlay as well, like other overlays, or how the game made having it's own build in overlay.

Try changing shortcut keys for overlay set them as back to tab and shift.

Just what I thought as well, and it remained in this unresponsive state even after a reboot until I gave it a minute to recover and it went back to normal...
