Changing to a different Sound device for Steam Only games

Hello,

ist it possible to change the Audio device to a different one then my standart PC Audio device ?

I want to play games with my Headset while a friend can watch something like Netflix (what i setup through my PC) so he can hear the Video through the TV sound and me my games through the headset.

becare full shareing your sound to other could be seen as cheating.
you tell other where you are then pick stuff up, to proof it or to be caugth in it is hard to proof.
but ask yourself this if team mate know your locations he can go other way. = getting sound info and act upon it. ( this is greyzone now at home )
and before everyone start a chat-storm, try think over it, play at discord and with open mic other know where you are.

no i dont think so, but if you ment, he should not hear that then it make sense.

in windows 10 settings - sound you can change input and output per app. (last option)
make the headset your default device and then change netflix (or browser) output to hdmi.

that way no additional software is required
