Steam Overlay is laggy
Typing in the Friend's chat is very slow and moving tabs is laggy as well. I notice that my overlay is also detecting that I'm on battery mode even though my laptop is plugged in and is detecting my power. I'm already at best performance in the Windows battery settings.

Does anybody else have this issue? Unplugging and plugging again, as well as restarting Steam doesn't work. I'm concerned if this is an issue with my Steam or my power supply but I can't tell which.

Thanks for your response but sadly it didn't really help changing any of the settings. I still have a battery bar in my overlay and typing in the chat is still slow.

do check switch is on at wall plug so laptop do charge up ( assume its a laptop ) and cable and powersupply has green led if it even has such. and you dont run in minium power scematic if it dont get power that why you lag. ( work as intended if no power is there. and laptop try save as much power as possible. )

you could have a faulty power supply, that external black box if it is even a laptop you have.

because desktop pc normaly dont have that symbol and then power goes its a crash shutdown
not many have UPS to pc. but i bet more pc owner start to maybe not a bad idea to get that unit.
