How to reset a game to factory condition?
I re-downloaded XP11 and installed a bunch of mods on it. But due to a mod corrupting or something the game crashes on loadup.

I deleted the game and then reinstalled it in the hopes that it will be reset to normal and I can play it again. However, when I loaded up the game again, I realized that the mods I downloaded were still in the game, meaning that I cannot play it.

So my question is how do I delete all the mods that I downloaded from the game files, and reset the game's files to factory condition?

I can't delete the mods from files as they are integrated into original game files. Please help me, thank you!

This isn't something that pertains to XP11. Frankly I can take the whole xplane11 part out and condense it into:

I downloaded some mods into a game and now it wouldn't run. I deleted it and reinstalled it on steam and the mods are still there. How do I reinstate it into the version without all the mods?

Read: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/107898-how-do-i-reinstall-x-plane/

If that doesn't work, ask the community that has the most experience with your game at the link I provided above: https://steamcommunity.com/app/269950/discussions/

If it has a workshop, unsubscribe from the mods.
If it doesn't, or you installed them manually, deleting/uninstalling the game through the Steam Client doesn't delete the mods. You need to go into the actual folder and delete the mods manually, and then redownload/reinstall the game.
