I can no longer install or play my game

I bought dead by daylight on this account and have played it for 60 hours(i played it yesterday), but today it is not downloaded and it is not in my steam library, however when i go to the steam store it says i own dbd and that it is in my library. So i click the play game button and and new tab opens up saying preparing to launch dead by daylight, after a few minutes nothing happens and the tab closes. I have check my files and dead by daylight is not there

Yeah just don't touch anything, don't uninstall, sale games are all down right now, possibly more, it happened to half my games

Fallout 4 is my main one, also NV and F3 no longer show, also had a few others, and had uninstalled Goat Simulator to see if it would somehow fix it, didn't fix it but at least it still shows IN my library which others have not had the same luck with after an uninstall...

go here, post your issue. everyone is affected right now, including me. my Fallout 4 game doesnt work, but all the others do.

GUYS omg did you clear your download cache? I tried everything else and nothing helped but this worked. Just saw it in another thread on here

Yaaas!! Glad it helped. I feel silly for not doing that FIRST since that's always first step for me when Fallout 4 isn't functioning

Also, for those it doesn't help with, some have to clear it 2 or 3 times before this fixes it. You will have to probably update all games when you launch them even if they hadn't disappeared as a result but should be smaller updates and will fix the bug that pushed the purchase button on any game in the sale back to play if you owned it already
