Accidentally clicked gift redeem link, what do I do

I'm a Discord group and one of our guys sent out a gift URL that was meant for someone else (I'm not interested in that particular game). I clicked it because I thought it was for another game the same person had said they'd buy me. Steam then opened and told me I received the gift and is now giving me the option to either accept or decline it.
Is there a way for me to re-gift it to the friend who it was meant for? What happens if I decline? Will the URL still be useful and can it still be used to redeem?

No, no way, there is either accept, or decline. If declined it will be automatically refunded and the link will not work anymore.

Not sure why that link was posted in an open chat and not in a direct message.
