My twitch stream got DDOSED, what do I do?
I swear the Rainbow Six Siege community is so disgusting. I slammed a person on the other team and I'm almost 100% sure that he booted me offline. This has happened to me before, I was playing against cheaters and they found out that I was streaming and coincidentally my stream went offline for no reason (My internet has never had problems going offline before).

How do I fix this? I just got DDOSSED offline and I got the abandon sanction penalty. And most importantly, my stream went offline. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Would a VPN help?

While not helpful AT ALL, I have no ability to stop saying this: This is why i stopped playing PvP games years ago... 9 out of 10 such communities are beyond the word of "toxic" or disgusting... The concept of "Gents" and "Sportsmanship" is non existent these days.

Sorry, Just had to get that off my chest... carry on...

Possibly but you need to find one with DDOS protection else it'd be no different. You also want to make sure the connection is stable and ping isn't excessively high.

check out NordVPN - I use it - but i don't know all the benefits, i just use it to bypass Netflix's pointless region locks...

+1000 - Same here. I'll add that for me it's been decades ago. I check in to various MP games every now and then. Nothing's changed. Richard Kopfs still abound.
Find a less incompetent platform to stream on :steammocking:

DDoS is more complex than you think. It needs massive botnet. Those attacks usually are targeted to big companies.
While you are probably right to be skeptical, can I just point out that such free, open source massive botnets are available online. While any service worth its weight in salt, would know how to protect against those, we're talking about Twitch here...
