Used CD-key from G2A
I bought a cd-kay for F1 2020 Schumacher edition at {LINK REMOVED} so I could play early. Now this key is already used. I need to send proof but I have to contact steam support for this. But steam support will only send me trough their standard solutions and tell me to contact the seller. But the seller tells me I have to find out at what date and time this key is used. I won't get my money back and also cannot get a new key. I thought it was the sellers job to find these sort of things out but i guess I was wrong. Is there any way to contact steam support so they can give me this information? I was so deperate to play I already bought the 70 edition so I could play. I need either a working key of my money back. Please help!!

If you bought something on another site, why would Steam be interested in helping you?

It's not their problem.

You got ripped off. Since you didn't go through Steam you have ZERO recourse through Steam. If you paid for it with a credit card or via paypal, reverse the charges and never use that CENSORED FOR A REASON site.

The reason those letters are removed is because they SELL ILLEGAL KEYS.

See how the name of that site has been blocked by the filter?

Theres a reason for that

They are folling you. They have sold you a non-working item, that is broken goods. Now they're trying to get you to do their work. It doesn't matter when the key was registered. All it matters is that it was and it's their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ job to provide you a working key for your money, not to have you do anytihng.

Charge back. A non-scummy vendor would never ask customers to clean up the vendor's mess. Issue a chargeback with your payment provider.

It's not even a mess, probably. Since they are not getting the keys from the publisher, they have no information about them at all -- they could be used. they could be for other games, or they might not even be valid keys at all; the company has no way of knowing until someone tries it.

Stick to trusted stores in future.

This isn't a "trust" issue, it's them pulling keys from shady or outright illegal sources. And while a stolen or 2nd hand car can be inspected by an expert to decide what to do with it, or figure out whether that Rolex actually is a Rolex, you just can't do that with a Steam key.

Thanks you all. I tried to get my money back because they GUARANTEE your money back. But I got an answer that I had to provide the seller with proof that the key is already used. I have sended a screenshot before that proved just that but they need more. At least I know that what they are asking is ridiculous as I've already told the seller before.
