Random Friend Requests from bots?

Hey steam community, I am hoping y'all can help me. I"m getting a whole bunch of random friend requests from people I don't know and they appear to be bots. Is there anyway to stop these? Can I change who can send me requests? Much help is appreciated. Happy gaming everyone, and stay safe.. Sorry if I posted in wrong form btw

Damn :( thats what I been doing, was hoping there was a quick fix other then seeing my invite menu blown up with bot requests ughh.. ight thanks for the help man :)

You could also leave some of the groups that bots can use to look for targets.

What I do is friend them, wait for them to answer the question "Why did you friend me?" And if they respond with a sketchy link, I just report them to steam and tell them to piss off.

probably wouldnt go as far as to tell the **** off but I liked cats answer better i forgot there was groups so thank you Cat
