My Equalizer APO config for the HyperX Cloud IIs
Right, so ever since I got my Cloud 2s, I've been absolutely loving them but one thing has always bothered me about them and that's the annoyingly high treble and tss hats.

I installed equalizer APO and used a config from this steam forum (If you're on this post, you'll probably know which post I'm talking about) but after a while, I realized that also didn't sound too good either. It sounded like the song was playing from under a pillow. So I made my own config. I don't know how accurate or good it is. I just added a little bit more bass and removed some of the sharp tss's if you know what I mean. I wanted to keep it as clean and natural as possible while not making the bass to crazy and not making it sound too different from how it sounded originally.

However, I wanted to see what other people's EQ's sound like, since I'm not too confident mine is good. If you got some spare time, I'd also appreciate it if you judged my EQ I've provided below, thanks!

Equalizer APO EQ Text: "GraphicEQ: 25 4; 40 4; 63 4; 100 1; 160 -1; 250 -1; 400 0; 630 0; 1000 0; 1600 0; 2500 -2; 4000 0; 6300 -2; 10000 -2; 16000 -4"

To use this, install Equalizer APO, launch "Configurator Editor", remove all the profiles, add a new profile, and click the little notepad icon under the add and delete buttons. Replace the existing text with what I've provided above and you'll be able to use my EQ. However, as far as I know, this only works on Equalizer APO specifically.

I realise this post is incredibly old at this point, but I wonder if you moved off of your EQ settings.
Also, you forgot to state what you set as preamp. We share some similarities, but there are also some clear differences. I'll post my EQs first, then my reasoning

Preamp: -4.2
25: 0.2
40: 0.2
63: -2.6
100: -2.6
160: -4
400: 0
630: 2.2
1000: 1
1600: 1
2500: 3
4000: 4
6300: -1.8
10000: -3.4
16000: 4

I use my HyperX mostly for music, some for gaming (although usually just my speakers for that), and I listen a huge variety of music, so I went for a rather general-use sound profile.

I experienced the HyperX as being a bit too bassy, making instruments and especially vocals feel a bit muddy. I actually like the "lower end" of the highs (2.5k thru 4k decibels) being pronounced., since that is where most of the high tones of music lives (a piano goes up to 4200). Also having the 16k at a much higher point (with preamp included it would put it at -0.2) than yours, I think the 16k is essential for timbre, ambience and vaguer hints in sounds (called overtones), they don't apply to things like the reverbing crash of cymbals. Keeping the lowest lows close to 0 means I still get the trill like a subwoofer, but lowering the 63 to 160 range means that I take away the more pronounced bass to make space for the mids.

If you mostly listen to electronic music, you might be better off keeping anything at 400 or below close to 0. The HyperX cloud 2 has a rather pronounced bass as it comes out of the box, so that should emphasise it. Also if you like the growling sound of tank engines and mortar explosions, keep it close to the "stock" 0 -- Personally I don't play shooters and most of my music is laid back rather than energising EDM.
